Children Department
CUMI is a family oriented church. Our vision is to influence the nations for Jesus with God’s love and character. Our children’s church is geared towards raising a new generation of children whose passion and commitment to the Almighty God is a lifelong desire with an ingrained aspiration to make a difference to this perverse and crooked world.
We have a fun packed, entertaining and dynamic ministry focused on teaching the word to children from age 1 year to 11 years.
Our aim
“ Assist the children in developing a real relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, and the person of the Holy Spirit by teaching them the word of God that will liberate them to take there rightful place
We aim to do this by
-helping them to understand the Gospel of the Kingdom of God
-helping them to develop their identity in Christ – as children of the King
-helping them to develop an understanding of God’s Purpose and plan for their lives
-Helping them to discover and use the gifts (spiritual, physical and mental) that God has deposited in them.
-Providing learning in the culture of the Kingdom of God in fun & comfortable environment.
The Children’s Church service runs concurrently with the Adult services on Sundays.
Children are taught according to their age group.
We have the following classes:
Toddlers’ class: age 1-4years
Junior Class 1: 5-8years
Junior Class 2: 9-11years
We teach the children using a variety of different methods which includes
-helping them to understand the Gospel of the Kingdom of God
